Academy 49 – Quarterback Development Program 

The quarterback position is the most demanding role on the field—physically, mentally, and spiritually. At Academy 49, we don’t just train quarterbacks; we forge field generals, decision-makers, and cultural leaders.

Our Quarterback Development Program is an elite training experience designed to sharpen every aspect of QB play. We focus on two foundational pillars:
Leadership Development and Extension Training.

Leadership Development

Quarterbacks are more than passers—they are tone-setters. Through film study, scenario-based learning, and guided mentorship, athletes learn to:

• Communicate with confidence and clarity

• Build trust with teammates

• Take ownership of the huddle, sideline, and locker room

• Lead under pressure with spiritual grounding and emotional control

We teach our QBs how to lead like warriors—with humility, vision, and discipline.

Extension Training

We treat the QB as an extension of the coaching staff. Athletes are trained to think like offensive coordinators—understanding not just what to run, but why.
Our extension training includes:

• Advanced football IQ development

• Reading coverages and defensive schemes

• Situational awareness and play adjustments

• Decision-making speed and progression timing

• Mastery of pre- and post-snap responsibilities
